更新日期:6月 19

Jeffrey Andrews, an ethnic minority from South Asia, volunteers with his friends to collect items for kids quarantined in a Covid-19 quarantine center in Hong Kong's Fotan.

There are two new confirmed cases in Hong Kong on May 1, both of which are imported overseas. They are also the first batch of 319 returning residents who stayed in Pakistan on a special plane PK8871 last night. The patients include 1 male and 1 Female, aged between 16 and 34 years old, 2 people will be arranged for hospital treatment later.

The Hong Kong government is planning to fly home about 5,200 of its citizens scattered across India or Pakistan after earlier repatriating its people from Wuhan and Hubei province in China, the epicenter of the Covid-19 plague.

The plan to bring home this many people makes it one of the largest evacuation missions to be conducted by a country or territory since the outbreak of the virus in Wuhan spiraled into a world-engulfing pandemic.
